Culture of Respect

What is it?

The Culture of Respect is part of NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education). Their goal is to “strengthen schools by providing a framework to assess and improve efforts to eliminate campus sexual violence. [They] provide tools for all constituents at colleges and universities as they answer the call to ensure students are safe to pursue the promise of higher education.” The Culture of Respect piloted the program with 14 institutions, and published a report that discusses the various improvements. There are just over 50 institutions who are participating in 2017 & 2018 and Mines is excited to be one of them!
