Adventure Leadership Community

Students involved with the Adventure Leadership Community will receive the opportunity to participate in human-powered recreational activities in Golden, Colorado, and the surrounding states. This community will partner with Mines' Outdoor Recreation Center (ORC).

Possible activities include: Hiking; Backpacking; River Rafting; Camping; Spelunking/Caving; Rock Climbing/Bouldering; Challenge Courses; Skiing/Snowboarding; Snow Shoeing; Local Races; Outdoor Trail Running; Biking Trips

* Students selected on the Adventure Leadership Community will have the opportunity to attend WILD, a 5 day pre-Orientation wilderness adventure experience. Please visit the WILD website for more information. This opportunity is only available to Adventure Leadership Community Members.

The Adventure Leadership Community is housed in Maple Hall.
