Athleticism and Wellness Community

Residents of the Athleticism and Wellness (A&W) Theme Learning Community will engage in a variety of activities and immersive programs that engage in physical activity, team sports, and overall wellness. Many of our residents are involved with club and intramural sports. We also attend events hosted by the Rec Center, local professional athletic teams, and the Department of Athletics. Students in this community have a variety of opportunities to remain physically and mentally fit while learning more about balance and holistic wellness while at Mines. The community is looking for students of all genders, ability levels, and interest levels in various athletic and wellness endeavors.

Potential Activities: attending and supporting student athletics on campus, joining intramural or club teams, guest speakers on wellness and balance, yoga, programs on sleep, and nutrition, exploring what athletics look like in different cultures, and learning about healthy behaviors and balance.

The A&W Community is a part of Randall Hall.
