Oredigger Leadership

The Oredigger Leadership Community understands and promotes the idea that leadership can take several forms. This engaged and accepting community explores what it means to be a leader through peer-collaboration, self-development, and service, and members challenge each other to exemplify this idea of leadership.  Through the Oredigger Leadership Community, students will have the opportunity to:
- build skills to communicate effectively, build mutual respect, and utilize both collaborative and decisive decision-making
- take an active role in giving back to the greater Mines community through service projects and community engagement, both on and off campus
- develop your personal drive, proactiveness, and professional skills to be an inspiring role model to others and to be a willing advocate for yourself and others
- identify your passions and pursue leadership opportunities as a first-year student

Possible Activities/Opportunities include:
- Community Service Events both on and off campus
- Career Day Preparation (reviewing resumes, how to introduce yourself to companies, networking, etc.)
- Leadership Discussions
- Self-Advocacy
- Skill Development Workshops (time management, communication styles, etc.)
- Collaboration with Campus Resources

The Oredigger Leadership Community lives in Weaver Towers for the 2017-2018 academic year.
