Women Faculty & Staff Programs

Women Faculty Professional Development Program
Formal and informal meetings are scheduled throughout the academic year to bring together Mines academic women faculty to discuss topics such as tenure and promotion, research, policies, and other relevant issues. Contact Dr. Tracy Camp, Coordinator of the CSM Academic Women Faculty Meetings, or Dr. Junko Munakata Marr, Associate Coordinator for more details.

Association of Classified Employees (ACE)
ACE serves as the representative body for the CSM Classified Employees. ACE provides information and serves as a consulting body for the CSM Administration and any other campus group(s) or organization(s) whose policies or procedures affect the Association.

Administrative Faculty Council (AFC)
AFC was organized to serve as the representative body of the Administrative Faculty to actively participate in CSM policy matters which may affect or be of interest to the Administrative Faculty. It also acts as an advisory body to the CSM Administration, provides information and advice to its constituents, and acts as a liaison to the groups on campus.

Faculty Senate
The Faculty Senate promotes cooperation and understanding among the various constituencies that comprise the School by: 1) providing a forum for the Academic Faculty to express its concerns to the Administration and the Board of Trustees; 2) encouraging the involvement of the Academic Faculty in the overall operation of the School; 3) fostering and maintaining a stimulating atmosphere for teaching, scholarship and service.

Academic Management Institute (AMI)
Each year, the WISEM Program selects and sponsors two women (one academic and one administrative faculty member) to participate in this leadership and management Institute. AMI strives to support the development of senior-level women administrators in higher education, particularly in Colorado and Wyoming.
