Taylor wins Minerals, Metals & Materials Society award

Patrick Taylor, George S. Ansell Distinguished Professor of Chemical Metallurgy and director of the Kroll Institute for Extractive Metallurgy at Mines, has been chosen to receive the Minerals, Metals & Materials Society’s 2010 Extraction & Proccessing Distinguished Service Award.
This award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding long-term service to industries served by extraction and processing by consistently providing technical and/or operating knowledge that has enhanced the competitiveness of the industry.
He will receive the award in February during the society’s annual meeting Seattle.
