Parking Permit Renewal Process for Fall 2017 Is Now Open

Faculty and staff parking permits: Reserved permit holders, will automatically be registered for
the Fall 2017 permit and do not need to register again. Those who select Commuter or General
will need to renew online.

There will be two changes to lot designation: Effective August 1st, 2017 Lot R (West Campus
and Maple) will become a General Lot. In addition, the Elm Lot, at 19th and Elm (Northwest
Corner), will become both commuter and daily fee parking. A realignment of the Q Lot will add
an additional 68 more commuter spaces is scheduled to be completed by September.

We are also excited to introduce Pay by Cell options in all visitor and daily fee lots this
Fall. This option will also be available for campus street parking in some locations. Look for
more information on this option in the Daily Blast and the pay by cell signs in your parking

Fall 2017 Rates
Commuter: $8.75/month
General: $22.08/month
Employee Reserved: $33.33/month

Again, If you currently have a reserved permit and would like to keep it, you will automatically
be registered for Fall 2017. If you would like a general or commuter permit please go to to begin the renewal process. If you are logging in for
the first time you will need to enter your Mines email and a password will be sent to you.

Campus employees will receive their new permits in campus mail before August 1st, based on
when your request was received. New permits must be installed on your vehicle by August 1,
2017 which will be enforced. Employees not receiving a regular paycheck through Mines payroll
system should expect to pay for the permit in full and pick up their permit(s) at the Parking

If purchasing a permit a mandatory payroll deduction will be required with the option for pre-tax
or post-tax. It is assumed that pre-tax is the preferred option. Send an email request to Nan
