Chemical Equations via the Computer
- New Software Available for Downloading. A new
program to write and balance chemical equations has recently been completed and is
available for downloading. It was written by Machael Betz and Jason Hupta of the
Math/Computer Science Dept. here at CSM. You enter a list of chemicals and it will tell
you if one or more balanced equations may be written from among those chemicals. If so, it
will do all of the balancing for you. There is a version for Windows95 [chembal32] and one
for Windows version 3.11 [chembal16].
