Research Interests:
- Discrete
Element Modeling applied to problems in engineering and the appiled
sciences. Some examples include problems in: bulk solids transport, compaction
of ceramic powders, constitutive models for granular materials, design
of flexible highway rockfall fences, prediction of ice forces on offshore
structures, and stability of underground mine openings.
