Two MATLAB Seminars, presented by Saket Kharsikar from MathWorks
Please join Saket Kharsikar for two complimentary MATLAB seminars. Mines faculty, staff, researchers and students are all welcome to attend. During these technical seminars, we will provide an overview of MATLAB and introduce you to the powerful statistical analysis and visualization capabilities available in MATLAB.
BIO: Saket joined MathWorks in 2008 as an Application Engineer. He has a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, with a specialization in bioinformatics and computational biology, from the University of Akron. Some of the areas that he focusses on at MathWorks are MATLAB as a technical computing platform, parallel and distributed computing, machine learning and deployment of applications outside of MATLAB
|Who:||These seminars are open to the Mines community|
|When:||April 27, 2017 10am - Noon|
|Registration:||Register here. Walk-ins also welcome.|
In this session, you will learn how MATLAB can be used to visualize and analyze data, perform numerical computations, and develop algorithms. Through live demonstrations and examples, you will see how MATLAB can help you become more effective in your coursework as well as in research. This session is targeted for students, faculties, and researchers who are new to MATLAB. However, experienced MATLAB users may also benefit from the session, as the engineer will be covering some tips and tricks from the newer releases of MATLAB.
Are you using MATLAB to its fullest potential? MATLAB has changed significantly over the last 3 years to address the growing needs of our users, but we've noticed that even experienced MATLAB users aren't taking advantage of our latest and greatest features.
