UPDATE: [10-AUG-2016] Network Maintenance

[UPDATE: 6pm 10-AUG-2016] We (CCIT) believe we have corrected the network connection issues. Network connections are currently stable. Users should no longer be experiencing intermittent connection issues or outages.

CCIT will be monitoring network services over the next few days.

If you experience any network or service connection issues, please submit a Mines Help Center request at http://help desk.mines.edu with details of the problem.

[UPDATE 1:30pm 10-AUG-2016]  Some, but not all issues have been resolved. We are still experiencing some intermittent connection problems.

CCIT staff are continuing to work on correcting the issues and bringing Mines back to full computer/network functionality.

[UPDATE 8:30am 10-AUG-2016]  CCIT ran into technical issues during the core router network maintenance for the evening of Tue Aug 9th. CCIT staff are working to correct the issues. 

All servers/services are online, but we are currently experiencing intermittent connection problems

[Original Outage Notice] 

[9-AUG-2016 6-10PM] Network Maintenance

Buildings across campus will experience brief network outages the evening of Tuesday, August 9.

Computing, Communications, and Information Technologies (CCIT) will be performing crucial upgrades to the campus network backbone Tuesday, August 9, from approximately 6 to 10 pm.

During this time, each building will experience several brief network outages. During these outages, no voice or data services will be available. There will be no direct impact to servers in the campus data centers, but services hosted in the data centers will be unavailable for several short periods.
