About Me

I am a non-thesis Masters student in Environmental Science and Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. I will be finishing my degree in Summer of 2012. I have been a part of the Bechtel Fellowship since January 2011 and have worked with K-5th teachers in Hodgkins Elementary and Skyline Vista Elementary. I am currently participating in the program as a part of the admin and assessment teams. IBelay did my undergrad at Mines in Environmental Engineering as well. I am a native of southwestern Colorado and spend as much time as possible enjoying everything our state has to offer by skiing, climbing, trail running, backbacking, biking, etc. After graduation I hope to either get a Water Resource job or continue this adventure into science and math education.
