Research
- My name is Evan Forbes, and I am a graduate student in the civil engineering program at CSM.I have always had a desire to build and create. I also have a passion for people. I had hoped that I could find a way to integrate these two passions. This semester I was accepted into the GK-12 program. Currently I am helping teach 8th grade science at Aurora Hills Middle School.This is an opportunity that I am excited for and look forward to the rest of the year.
GK-12 Fellowship
The purpose of the Gk-12 program is to use my skills and enthusiasm in math and science to help educate kids from kindergarten to 12th grade. Because I am still in college, this is an incredible opportunity to teach the kids using some of the material and resources that I am learning and using now to help educate these students.
