The idea of scaling the
graph so the data fill the graph area is only appropriate for a stand-alone
graph.
When multiple graphs of the same variables are presented
for comparison, all of the graphs should be presented at the same scale even
though some do not fill the entire graph.
This allows the viewer to easily compare the different conditions. If the scale
of the graph changes from figure to figure, it is difficult for the human mind
to digest the differences.
