Colorado School of Mines STEM Summer Camp Michelle Schwartz, undergraduate intern in our group, teaching a group of middle school students about groundwater remediation.
Middle school tutoring and science club With support from the National Science Foundation, we implemented a tutoring and science club program at a Denver middle school that aims to bring STEM "to life." Every week, students from the Colorado School of Mines Society of Women Engineers run the program with the goal of motivating and preparing students to pursue college studies and careers in the STEM fields.
