Research Positions Available

Graduate and undergraduate students enthusiastic about theoretical physics and currently enrolled at the Colorado School of Mines should contact Dr. Carr at (303)273-3759 or lcarr (at) if interested. Our group works primarily on quantum many body physics, nonlinear dynamics, and artificial materials, with a particular focus on quantum complexity at present: see the research overview page for a description of general themes and the group page for a list of specific recent projects.

If you are interested in coming to the Colorado School of Mines for graduate studies in physics and are excited about the group's research areas please feel free to contact me. If you would like a post-doctoral position and are interested in applying together for a fellowship from the U.S. or abroad, again, feel free to contact me directly. German citizens in particular can apply for a Feodor Lynen postdoctoral research fellowship through the Alexander von Humboldt foundation. The U.S. State Department provides Fulbright fellowships. Many other possibilities exist depending on your country of origin.
