Me in Estes Park

I am a first-year graduate student, working towards my masters in applied mathematics.
I have not yet decided on which research field I will pursue for my thesis, since there are so many fun possibilities!
I graduated with my bachelor's in general mathematics from Colorado State University in May 2010.
Eventually I hope to develop a career in the defense industry.
In my spare time, I like to play with my dog Sadie and my cat Louie, or play water polo.

I am currently funded by the GK-12 program, which matches graduate students with middle school teachers in Aurora Public Schools.
These 6th - 8th grade teachers graciously let us come into their classrooms to do fun and nerdy lessons with their kids.
I am enjoying working with Lynae Freese, a sixth grade science and math teacher at Aurora Hills Middle School.  Mustang Pride!
Support for the GK-12 program is provided by the National Science Foundation's Division of Graduate Education,
NSF, DGE - 0638719
