Personal Bio

  • I am currently a Ph. D. student in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and received my Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Colorado State University. My research revolves around environmental microbiology, specifically how we can use microbial reduction of uranium to help remediate former uranium mill tailing sites. Last year, I was working with Clayton Elementary in the Adams 50 School District, assisting 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade with science and math. Currently I assist with math and science at John Amesse Elementary School and Englewood Middle School. In my free time I play piano, hike, and sleep in.
