About GK-12

The GK-12 Program is about connecting elementary and middle school classrooms with graduate students focused on math and science.  The goal is to excite the students about math and science as well as incorporate the graduate student's research topic and his or her expertise in the field of renewable energy into the classroom's current curriculum in an effort to strengthen the curriculum and expand the kids' knowledge to topics beyond the classroom.Support for this work is provided by the National Science Foundation's Division of Graduate Education, NSF, DGE-0638719.
