About Me
My
name is Megan Yoder, and I am currently a graduate student at the
Colorado School of Mines studying statistics. Prior to beginning
graduate school, I received my bachelor's of science in mathematics
from the University of Colorado at Denver. My current research is
in
wind energy and statistical analysis of historical climate model
simulations of wind speeds.
I am also a part of the Bechtel program
and student teach at Hodgkins
Elementary. I am the math and science "expert" in Ms.
Zook's third through fifth grade class. Additionally, Dan Moran
and I co-lead the distance learning program between Mines and Meeker
Elementary
School.
Funding for these programs comes from the Bechtel K-5
Education Excellence Initiative and Exxon Mobile.
