Short Bio: I started the tenure-track assistant professor position here right after I got my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California-Irvine in August 2005. I was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in 2011.

Ph.D. students:

I'm regularly looking for motivated Ph.D. students with strong algorithms background and implementation skills to work on research areas of wireless sensor networks, pervasive computing, cyber physical systems, mobile sensing, and robotic sensor networking. If you're interested, please send me your transcripts and CV that includes your GRE scores (and TOEFL scores for international applicants).

Master's students: MS thesis topics are available. Please contact me for more information.

Undergraduate students: There are several ways to get involved in research: (1) CSCI 491 (Undergraduate Research); (2) CSCI 499 (Independent Study); and (3) REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) projects funded by the National Science Foundation. Please contact me for more information.
