Research Interests: watershed hydrology, groundwater-surface-water-land-surface interactions, land-atmosphere interactions, microbial subsurface contaminant transport, spectral scaling in watersheds, integrated watershed response to climate change, environmental risk assessment, development of numerical models, Lagrangian methods and high-performance computing.

Education: Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of California, Berkeley; M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, University of California, Los Angeles; B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, University of Miami.


Experience: 2009-present: Assistant Professor, Department of Geology and Geologic Engineering, Colorado School of Mines; 2000-2008: Physicist, 1998-2000: Postdoctoral Staff Member; Atmospheric, Earth and Energy Division, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
