Currently directing two projects investigating the borehole stresses in cemented wellbores. One project is investigating the importance of the mechanical properties of cement, annular geometries and formation mechanical properties and insitu stresses on casing collapse. The second project is looking at the effects of cement channeling and other imperfections on the resultant wellbore stresses.
