Current Role at Mines

  • Support Mines community on STEM scholarly communication issues, practices, and current developments
  • Support impact measurement for scholarly and intellectual content and development of tools for communicating impact
  • Promote wider dissemination of scholarly and research output including open access publications, research data and more
  • Collaborate with faculty on information literacy instruction focusing on STEM and upper division/graduate curricula
  • Partner with faculty on research and instruction as embedded librarian

Research Interest

  • Bridging between informaticians and domain scientists to establish and enhance soft/hard infratructure for research data management and sharing
  • Integrating information literacy into STEM curricula especially under the problem-solving learning context
  • Developing best practices in workflow management for research and publishing for academics to facilitate reproducible research, especially reproducible data processing and analysis
