He is interested in the broad area of high performance computing (HPC). His research results have been frequently published in leading HPC related journals and conferences including TPDS, TC, JPDC, SIMAX, SISC, ICS, HPDC, PPoPP, and SC. He received the Outstanding Faculty Award from the Colorado School of Mines in 2010 and the CAREER Award from National Science Foundation in 2012. |

She joined SuperLab in Fall 2009. Ms. Teresa Davies received a three-year NSF fellowship for her Ph.D. study at Colorado School of Mines. Her dissertation proposal won the Best Paper Award in the Ph.D. Forum of the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Parallel Processing at the 24th IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium. Ms. Teresa Davies is interested in high performance computing and fault tolerance. |

His research interests as an undergraduate and early graduate student were in swarm robotics and distributed intelligent systems. Mr. Christer Karlsson is currently focusing on algorithms and software for multicore architectures, topology aware MPI communications, and scalable checkpointing techniques. |
