Cayuse SP 3.6 version release will include numerous new features. All parts of the Research Suite will be unavailable (including Cayuse 424, SP, and IRB); all existing records will be preserved but new data should not be entered during the maintenance window.

Cayuse Research Suite production and test environments will be unavailable during scheduled maintenance. Information saved to browsers - usernames, passwords, or bookmarked login pages - may need to be re-entered or re-established in the browser after maintenance.

For limited clients, attempting login to Research Suite continues to result in error message "Secure Connection Failed... Server Key Exchange handshake... (Error code: ssl_error_weak_server_ephemeral_dh_key)"
Please contact ora@mines.edu if you receive this error.  
Proposals and/or Opportunities Windows and Mac Internet Explorer and Chrome Unable to view proposal or opportunity lists Clear browser cache and cookies (see instructions in solutions below)

-OR-

Switch to Mozilla Firefox. Users who have reported the issue in IE and Chrome have been able to view their proposals right away in Firefox.
Budget Windows Firefox Budget won't load properly Clear cache:
  • Open blank Firefox window
  • Go to Options > Advanced > Cached Web Content > Clear Now and select OK
  • Restart Firefox
  • Re-login to Cayuse
SP Launch Mac and Windows Firefox (fewer reported incidents in Internet Explorer, Chrome) Cayuse SP fails to launch Remove stale browser cookies in Firefox:
  • At top left of Firefox window, click Firefox button and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac)
  • If no Firefox button, click icon with three vertical lines and select Options (Windows) or Preferences (Mac)
  • Click Privacy tab
  • Click hyperlinked text ‘remove individual cookies’ (Windows) or click Show Cookies button (Mac)
  • Find and remove cookies for cayuse424.com and mines.cayuse424.com
  • Restart Firefox and re-login to Cayuse and click on SP
