SUMMER SCHOOL

Starting With Summer School?

If you're taking classes in the summer or beginning your campus career during the summer months, a permit is required to park your vehicle on campus.  Students in these two catagories may purchase a parking permit directly from the Parking Services office. If you need a parking permit for the summer, Parking Services will sell you a yellow, Commuter permit for half the annual cost, directly from our office for the summer only. Those desiring to park on campus in the summer should bring their vehicle information (Make, Model, Color, Year, and License Plate) to the parking office.  We'll ask you to complete a form or go online and make your payment and we'll show you where you may park.

If you are in the Challenge program, getting a permit for the summer does not mean you will automatically receive a permit for the upcoming fall and spring semesters.  Freshmen living in the residence halls during the fall and spring semester are only authorized a parking permit if one is obtained from the lottery or through the waiver process, in advance.  See the "Freshmen Resident" tab to the right for specific information.

Your summer permit is valid until August 1 or when summer classes are over.

CAMPUS PARKING POLICIES ARE ENFORCED YEAR-ROUND, INCLUDING HOLIDAYS, SUMMERS, AND SEMESTER BREAKS.
