Recent News

* Congratulations to Kristin Hietala who was selected to represent CSM and Colorado and present her research to members of Congress at the Posters on the Hill event sponsored by the Council on Undergraduate Research. Full Story Update: At the event Kristen was selected as one of the two Excellence in Engineering award winners sponsored by IEEE which came with a $500 prize. A fitting conclusion for our graduating senior. Congratulations!

* Congratulations to Yegor Samoilenko for winning first place for his presentation in the energy division at the 2019 Graduate Reserach and Discovery Symposium (GRADS).

* Congratulations to Gavin Yeung for winning the best research paper competition at the 2019 regional AIChE student conference and taking home a $200 prize and earning the opportunity to present at the National AIChE Meeting in Orlando.

* Team awarded $2M grant from ARPA-E to develop catalytic membrane reactor technology to both synthesize ammonia and produce clean hydrogen from its decomposition. Full Story
