Welcome to the Wolden group at CSM. Our research interests focus on nanostructured thin films and materials for sustainable energy applications including thin film solar cells, membrane reactors, opto-electronics, electrochromics, and next generation battery materials. Please click on the tabs above to view more information on current projects and people in the group.
Congratulations to December 2015 PhD graduates Drs. Sanket Kelkar (Micron), Daniel Meysing (Viavi Solutions), and Adam Welch (CSM). Congratulations to Jason Trevithick who successfully defended his MS thesis in May. This summer we welcome three undergraduate research students who are working with on next generation batteries in collaboration with Prof. Yang's group. Alice Brennan (University College Dublin), Miranda McCeig (Rutgers) and Kristen Hietala (CSM) are working on green sythesis of alkalide sulfide nanostructures. Alice and Miranda are working through the REMRSEC REU program.
