Class supplies

The following is a list of things that you will need through the course to complete the assignments. With these you should be able to complete most of the lab assignments from the comfort of your dorm or apartment.

  • 12V center-tap positive AC/DC wall transformer,
  • USB thumb drive ,
  • Bread board,
  • Needle nose pliers, wire stripper.

Software

This class will use the EAGLE CAD tools for schematic capture and layout. Use the links below to grab the free version and download it to your personal computer.

The major project for this class, the uSupply, is heavily based on the designed presented by Dave Jones over at the EEVblog. I strongly recomend wtching his video's for additional insight and lots of practical advice on circuit design.
